Sacrament Preparation

Our program helps parents prepare their children to receive sacraments from ages 5-18. At St. Emily's, students normally receive First Reconciliation/First Communion in 2nd grade, and Confirmation in 8th grade. Two years of preparation (normally 1st & 2nd, and 7th & 8th) are required by the Archdiocese of Chicago.
We have a variety of programs and paths to prepare children for the sacraments. If your student has missed receiving a sacrament, or if you have any questions, please contact David Mika ([email protected]).
