Flock Note for Lent

Have you ever thought, “I wish I could find a way to feed my soul during Lent but I’m always so busy.” Or, maybe there are special missions or events out in the parishes but they never seem to be offered at a time that works for you.

We understand! That’s why St. Emily Parish is happy to bring a special Lenten mini-course right to your email. Each Friday over five weeks of Lent you can receive an email through a new program we are using called Flock Note. Each week will bring a short video in which Bishop Barron shares some insights into a different aspect of Catholicism. We hope you will find these videos FORMATIVE and INFORMATIVE.

> Feb 23 – What will happen when we die? (5:46 min)
> March 2 – Does God really send people to Hell? (7:00 min)
> March 9 – Why Purgatory is a good thing… (7:33 min)
> March 16 – What can we know about angels? (10:27 min)
> March 23 – What’s the goal of Christianity? (20:15 min)

You will also see that there is an option to comment after viewing the videos; we hope you will share your thoughts with others, allowing all to grow in faith together.

If we have your email address in the parish database, you should have received an introductory email on February 16th. Check your spam/trash folder if you missed it (we won’t take it personally).

The staff of St. Emily Parish wishes you a truly grace-filled Lent.

If we don’t already have your email address, you can sign-up for Flock Note here and be added to the email list today!
