Parish Social Concerns Group

THE ST. EMILY PAX CHRISTI GROUP is the parish's way of dealing with a variety of local, national and global concerns:

• Protect weakest in our midst through end of abortion

• End violence as solution to problems

• Protect marriage

• Immigration Reform

• End poverty

• Universal health care

• End discrimination in all forms, towards anyone

• Encourage Faith-based initiatives

• Employ moral limits on use of military force

• Join global initiatives to advance peace and basic human rights

We meet the third Thursday of each month at 7pm in the parish ministry center. Please join us.

Note: There are many existing groups in which parishioners are and can be involved that solely address the first issue, abortion. This group will not duplicate their efforts, so persons who are only interested in that issue are advised to join one of those groups.
